Drop in or book ahead
The showroom at 76 Junction Rd, Kirkwall is open six days a week — you are very welcome to drop in without an appointment. For specialist conversations (whole rooms, bespoke commissions, fabric matching) we recommend booking ahead so we have the right samples to hand.
Booking a one-to-one
Email enquiries@jandmmcewen.co.uk or call +44 1856 872281 and we will block out 30 – 60 minutes with the relevant team member. Typical reasons people book:
- Furnishing a new build or extension — we work from your floor plan.
- Whole bedroom or living room refresh — we lay out coordinating ranges.
- Bespoke upholstery — we walk through fabric and leather samples.
- Trade and contract specifications — we cover fire-retardancy standards and warranty options.
What to bring
- Room dimensions and ceiling heights.
- Photos of the existing space and any pieces that will stay.
- Paint, flooring or curtain samples you want to coordinate with.
Access & parking
There is free parking on the street and a small dedicated bay outside the showroom. The entrance is step-free and the main aisles are wide enough for wheelchairs and pushchairs. A disabled WC is available on request.
If you cannot travel
For customers on the outer isles or off-island, we can run a short video call walk-through of the showroom — just call to set it up. We can also post fabric and finish samples.
