How our price match works — what we match, what we do not, and how to make a claim.

Our price match commitment

If you find the same item in stock at a lower price from another UK retailer, tell us before you buy and we will match it.

Conditions

• The item must be identical — same brand, same model, same colour or finish, same configuration.
• The competitor must be a UK-based retailer with a real shop or registered office — not a marketplace seller, dropshipper or used-goods listing.
• The item must be in stock and ready to ship from the competitor.
• The competitor's price must include all delivery charges and VAT — we compare total landed cost.
• Price match requests are valid up to 14 days after delivery — if a like-for-like price drops, we will refund the difference.

How to claim

1. Take a screenshot or note the URL where you saw the lower price.
2. Email enquiries@jandmmcewen.co.uk with the link, your order number (if already placed), and a one-line description.
3. We will reply within one working day with a yes/no and the matching amount.

What we cannot match

• Limited-time flash sales lasting less than 24 hours.
• Black Friday, Boxing Day and similar peak-season blow-outs are matched only against major comparable retailers.
• Trade-only or club-member pricing not available to the general public.
• Stock-clearance items.

Why we offer it

Because we want you to buy with confidence. We do not pretend to be the cheapest on every line, but we are committed to fair value. If you find a lower price legitimately, we would rather match it than lose your business.
